First, we will have a leisurely stroll around Kensington Gardens and learn about the part Hyde Park played in London’s development. We will see the beautiful gardens Prince Albert created for his wife Queen Victoria.  Approaching the Long Water we admire the Peter Pan Statue installed by J M Barrie in 1912.  Continuing our walk, we will take in the spectacular views as we approach the Palace where Prince Harry and William grew up while also discovering the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, which stands in the mesmerizing sunken garden.

We will then stroll to the 18th Century Tea Room created by Queen Anne, whilst giving you fascinating insights into our Royal family and the intriguing history behind our national drink as you select from the extensive menu.  Set in the beautiful parkland of Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace is most well known for being home to members of the Royal Family like Princess Diana, Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate (along with Princes George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte).

Your timed entry ticket to the Palace is for two hours after the start of the tour.  This allows an hour for your meal.

In March 2026 Kensington Palace will open a new exhibition, The Last Princesses of Punjab, marking the 150th birthday of princess and suffragette Sophia Duleep Singh, the goddaughter of Queen Victoria.

The exhibition explores the lives of Princess Sophia and the women who shaped her, including her sisters Catherine and Bamba, Mother Bamba Muller, Grandmother Jind Kaur and Godmother Queen Victoria. These six royal women each expressed womanhood, power, and royalty in different ways, infusing their identities and heritage into the causes they devoted themselves to.

This tour combines a walk through the Royal Park with a knowledgable guide, High Tea in the Orangery

Discover the story of Punjabi princess and suffragette icon, Sophia Duleep Singh and five women who shaped her extraordinary life, in a new exhibition at Kensington Palace for 2026.

Sophia and her sisters Catherine and Bamba, her mother Bamba Muller, grandmother Jind Kaur and godmother Queen Victoria each expressed womanhood, power, and royalty in different ways. They infused their identities and heritage into the causes they devoted themselves to, and became powerful changemakers in their own right.

For the first time, Queen Victoria’s childhood home of Kensington Palace will offer an intimate look into six lives shaped by Empire. This new exhibition — created to celebrate Sophia’s 150th birthday — will focus on the women of a royal dynasty whose destinies were profoundly and violently transformed by it.

The voice of British South Asian people today will be present throughout the exhibition, responding to themes of identity, expression, and resistance.
